Climate activist Greta Thunberg said that during the climate strikes across the globe on Friday “we showed that we are united, and that we young people are unstoppable.” She spoke briefly at the first UN Youth Climate Summit Saturday, ahead of her remarks to the UN General Assembly on Monday. Just over a year ago, in August 2018, activist Greta Thunberg sat alone during her first Friday climate strike outside Swedish parliament.
